The Positemp shower valve's compatibility with the M-PACT system allows for easy faucet appearance changes without altering the water pipeline. Featuring a four-port design, including shower and tub outlet ports, the tub and shower valve can be installed as either a "shower only" or "tub only" faucet by simply capping the appropriate outlet port.

Designed to rotate counter-clockwise to turn on the water and adjust the temperature, the Positemp valve does not have a volume control mechanism. The Positemp Valve Kit includes a brass tub and shower valve body, an 1222 faucet cartridge, and a retainer clip, all of which have been pre-assembled and tested.

When installing the shower valve, users should refer to the provided installation manual. The valve helps maintain water temperature control in the shower/tub and is compatible with the M-PACT common valve system, allowing for faucet style changes without any plumbing replacements.

The four-port valve design includes a cold water inlet, a hot water inlet, a shower outlet, and a tub outlet. If the user wishes to install the pressure balancing rough-in valve as a "shower only" or "tub only" faucet, they can simply cap off the unused outlet port.
